BMW M5 is considered to be a high performance version of the BMW 5-Series executive car manufactured and assembled by the Motorsport division. BMW M5 Specifications
BMW M5 was produced in four different versions based on intended export locations. These were the left-hand drive for specific Euro, American, and Canada market use, and the right-hand drive for UK market use, the Middle Seat Drive South African spec, and Back Seat Drive for Russia spec. The European and South African vehicles used the M88/3 engine which had produced 286 PS.
North American 1988 models used the S38B35 engine which was equipped with a catalytic converter and produced 256 hp. European models European-Spec model were available with some options unavailable on USA-Spec, such as Water Buffalo leather and a Glass Moon roof. It is believed Left-hand drive cars were operational with 185TR390 metric alloy wheels, while right-hand drive cars integrated 167.5 alloy wheels.
