BMW M4 is a High-Performance Car Model of The BMW 4 Series
There is no possibility of denying the importance over the excellence performance of BMW M4 series. It was high performance version vehicle developed by automakers in house Motorsports division, M Gmbh.
It is in record that automaker was officially presented the concept on August 16, 2013. However, at that time the concept car did not have any further detail of its interior or technical. Sometime later in the same year in the vicinity of September 25 2013, It had released technical specifications of the vehicle which will be powered by M-tuned S55B30 engine, a derivative form of the N55 engine, displacing 3.0 L or 180 cu in at a speed of 7,500 rpm.

The engine will have two mono-scroll turbochargers with boost peaking at 18.1 PSI. The power will be rated at 430 hp or 320 kW; 440 PS while torque will be over 500 N·m equivalent to 370 lb·ft. The weight of the car will be approximately more than 1,500 kg. Further it was clarified both 6-speed manual and 7-speed M-DCT transmissions will be available for the vehicle. The 7-speed M-DCT transmission will accelerate the car from 0-60 mph or 0-97 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The 6-speed manual transmission will do 0-60 mile per hour reaches 4.1 seconds.
Carbon fibre reinforced plastic material, which is considered to be a new one will be used extensively throughout the car, including drive shaft, roof bow, roof trunk, and front support brace. For the first time in the M vehicle, an effort has been made using an electric power steering unit. The steering system will also be specifically tuned for the M3 and BMW M4. The 460 mm and 480 mm wheel options will be available with lightweight forged alloys being standard. The M compound brakes will be customary, while carbon ceramic brakes will be available as an option.
Although controversial, the BMW M4 will feature Active Sound Control. A breathe amplification of the engines natural sound will be inducted into the passenger cabin via the speakers. It is believed there will not be any artificial sound or any pre-recorded pathway. Overall, 50 percent of the components on the BMW M4 will be standalone compared to the F32 4 Series. Upgrades over the standard 4-Series include more powerful and responsive engines, better handling, suspension, and braking systems, aerodynamic body design, and interior/exterior look with the tri-colour M badging.
